Stage Technician (FTC)
Salary: £704.44 per week
Location: London Coliseum & other locations as required
Contract dates: 28/09/2026-13/12/2026
We're seeking skilled and enthusiastic Stage Technicians to support staging operations across the London Coliseum, ENO storage facilities and touring venues.
Working closely with the Head of Stage, Show Managers and Production Managers, you'll contribute to all aspects of production delivery, including fit-ups, rehearsals, performances, scenic changeovers, get-outs and maintenance activities. You'll operate stage equipment, assist with the construction and movement of scenery, maintain technical documentation, and help ensure the highest standards of safety and professionalism are achieved across every production.

Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in technical theatre
Comprehensive experience and knowledge of safe manual handling techniques, including group lifting
Knowledge of theatrical terminology
Strong knot-tying skills
Experience and practical knowledge of rigging practices and equipment, including counterweight fly systems
Excellent stage craft skills and the ability to work at height
Solid understanding of scenic construction and associated equipment
Ability to follow cues accurately and produce clear cue documentation
Practical experience of safe working practices within a theatrical environment
Working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including LOLER and PUWER
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach
Professional attitude with excellent punctuality
Ability to lift up to 25kg
